Stanley "porter" Roberts. Kevin Duckworth. Just a few off the top of my head. Someone already mentioned "hot plate".
SI did a whole list of them back in the day.
Mathius
Yeah Stanley Roberts. he played with Shaq at LSU. Already weighed 300 pounds when he was drafted but not a solid 300 like Shaq. Duckworth right now looks atleast 450 pounds too.
Vlade Divac was never a physical specimen. Athletic and coordinated, but he didn't look it. Not a lot of time on the track I'm thinking.
As far as athletes go, look at linemen in the NFL. Those fellas have some blubber. It's good for their job, though.
Is it important? I think so. Still, for every Oliver Miller you have plenty of Lawrence Funderburkes... Physical specimens who still couldn't produce in the NBA. What bothered me about Oliver was that he had a high basketball IQ and could do a number of things on the floor, but not carrying around 150 pounds worth of lard beneath his jersey. He was a good passer. Unless you're in the Sac Town Kings, circa 2001, you're going to have to move a little to make that passing effective. Same with getting to the post, rebounding, intelligent basketball plays (the kind of stuff that Ginobili, for example, does on a regular basis) and all those other things he was good at.
If he weren't fat, he would have been an all star. That's what disappoints. Still, he is what he is.

I was literally about to post that pic. He's a BIG boy, 7 feet tall, his playing weight was listed at 275... Dude's gotta be 600 lbs, I mean damn! Look at that sh*t.
