Default If Hinrich played like he did last night...

If he were to average 10 assists per game there would be no need to trade him for a better point guard. There have been many games this season where he's had about 15 points and 10 assists. Why can't he just play like that every game? Also... if this current team played like they did last night and had a go to guy in the 4th quarter so they don't blow any leads they'd be a lot better than they are right now. If the rest of the team played like they did and you add someone like McGrady, Arenas, Elton Brand... well... they'd be have a lot more than 29 wins right now.

Every dog has his day. Hinrich isn't and never will be a good PG.

I think the main reason Hinrich is inconsistent is because of Ben Gordon. When Ben Gordon was out with his injury Hinrich put together a string of games where he had a decent scoring game and 7-8+ assist. When Ben Gordon is in the lineup he messes up Hinrichs game. He stands there and dribbles the ball off his knee and then waits for a double team to come and trap him and either throws the ball away or throws behind the open man to give the defense plenty of time to get back. Most teams have figured out Ben Gordon's main weaknesses. And that is his ball handling skills and defense. They know if they trap or double team him he is ineffective. And then they just go at him at the other end of the court. Hinrich and Sefolosha or Hinrich and Hughes are good combos in the back court. Hinrich is still getting used to Hughes. I think one thing that has and will help Hinrich is the addition of Gooden. Hinrich has played with him and knows how to use him and how to get the ball to him and what he is going to do with the ball. I would like to see Ben Gordon's minutes continue to decrease and Sefolosha's increase.

Exactly. I always wanted to see Hinrich become a true PG and play with a real talented SG. Hinrich and Hughes or Hinrich and Sefolosha are much better than Gordon & Hughes and Gordon & Sefolosha. IMO, if Hinrich played with a SG like Tracy McGrady and a PF/C like Elton Brand or Jermaine O'Neal he'd be averaging 10 assists per game.

Hinrich averaged like 17 points and 7 assists a game last year. Along with a few rebounds and 2 steals. Those are very solid stats from a PG, who doesn't have a big man.

If Kirk plays with the Spurs (replacing TP), he would be at 16 and 10 every night. Hinrich has always played with a big man, you wonder why he dribbles around looking for someone to pass to.

He got outplayed by Chris Quinn last night. Send him to Indy for O'Neal/Tinsley as soon as the season is over. It's time to bring in some players that can actually play.

Hinrich is garbage.

After seeing the results of last nights game I really don't think there's one player that deserves to come back to Chicago next season. Luol Deng, Ben Gordon, Kirk Hinrich, Tyrus Thomas, Duhon, Hughes, Gooden, Nocioni, etc. all of them can leave and I'll be more than happy.

thats why im hoping to see hinrich in denver as a nug

a hinrich/jr smith backcourt alongside melo would give the nuggets the perfect complements to each of the 3-

melo and hinrich on a team usa sqaud together looked perfect with each other

imo- hinrich would be exactly the player that jr smith needs to play alongside as well- and maybe jr for hinrich as well

how about a 3 way trade between denver, indiana,& chicago?

chi gets- oniell, tinsley,& iverson, den 1st

ind gets- gordon, kmart, chi 1st

den gets- hinrich, ty thomas, chi 1st, ind 1st- den could also take on another contract from someone?
