Curry shouldn't go to the NBA.

He isnt..he said he is staying and playing point guard for the next two years. This kid is prob one of my favorite college players ever and I'll be rooting for him.

The coach at Davidson is one of the best coaches in the country, way better then the Roy Williams or Bill Self or Coach K.

I don't consider playing two more years in NCAA would help him a little bit more in improving into a top PG. He needs to head to NBA and undertake new types of training.

Whatever the case, thanks Stephen Curry for a great performance this NCAA tournament.

Staying the full years will not only help him become a better player but also help Davidson get better recruits. People are going to want to play for Davidson now.

agreed... he's not close to being physically ready.

even in a couple years... top 20 pick at best?

6'2 2guards don't get much play in this league unless you are REALLY special

he needs to add a good 15-20 pounds before he even thinks of entering the NBA draft

if he stays and develops some point guard skills i think he could develop into a decent pt guard. He'd still be a score first type point guard though. He'd definitely do best on an up tempo team. He kinda reminds me of a monta ellis or a leandro barbosa. right now he's just an undersized 2 guard.

As great as his performance was, he won't get a guaranteed contract. It'll be too tough for him to get into the first round if the right guards come out. He'll need to prove that he's more than a shooter and it's obvious he still has a lot to learn. The NBA training you talk about isn't guaranteed by any means. He may make camps but at the way he is now he'll bounce around. Chris Lofton and him are virtually the same player and I don't even think Chris has a shot at being drafted.

I think he would definitely get drafted. There is always room for shooters in the league. Luther Head got drafted because he was a shooter and he plays an important role on a great team.

I was at this game, Stephen really is a scoring machine, a consumate streak shooter. Kansas is a way more complete offensive team, but Davidson's defence was INCREDIBLE, and combined with the constant threat of Curry, Davidson almost pulled off the upset. And there were WAAAAAY more Davidson fans than Kansas fans.
Me and my brothers met some 6'11 white guy at the game who used to play center for the University of Tennessee, looked like he was in his 40's, we didn't get his name. Any Tennessee fans who know who this guy is?

Stephen needs to add 10 pounds of muscle, if it doesn't slow him down or throw off his shooting ability. And staying one more year and playing point will help him.
