D Antoni must have run that pick switch with Dwight on Felton 20 feet from the basket a hundred times!!! Who the hell protecting the paint? Meeks on Chandler, forget it man... And thats the scary thing about the swiss cheese analogy, this is Raymond Felton we talking about here. Not Chis Paul or Westbrook or Parker mind you. Raymond Felton...
Why the heck would you play zone defense against a 3 point shooting team? Lakers would've lost by 50 yesterday if they did that.
Whatever happened to players being able to play good man to man defense? Players don't just all of a sudden just forget how to play defense
i can tell you've never played basketball all your life. even just pick up ball. team defense requires communication and chemistry. Laker problems on defense start when their garbage guards can't stay in front of their man. then all sorts of problems arise. Dwight has to cover the leak, leaving his man open. that means people have to switch and cover Dwight's man, everyone has to rotate.
you can't play man to man defense when players keep switching around. pick and roll will kill you.
please just die now and stop posting idiotic things. your stupidity offends my sensibility.
why cant the players just play D themselves, ****ing pros...they need someone to tell em how to?
You should look at breakdown of the Rivers/TT defense schemes of Boston/Chicago. It's much more complex than people just running out and playing hard on D
they need another tower down low since Dwight takes himself out of rebounding and box outs when he goes for shot blocks. Chandler killed them when he wasn't being boxed out by Dwight, nobody else could handle his size. Pau would've at least helped somewhat in that regard.
either way i still think the Lakers can look like a much better team when they're at full strength despite all of the pessimism.
The Lakers are the only team in the league who are out of playoff position and average more PPG than their opponents. How is it even possible to have a losing record when you're scoring more than your opponent?
( It's because when the lakers win they BLOW OUT their opponent. When it's a close game, they lose.
Guess what Kobe does when the team is winning a blow out? He chills out and lets his teammates do their thing. Guess what he does when they're getting blown out? He SCORES more because he's the best player on the team and they need points. He's averaging the least SHOTS he's averaged since 1999. But now people can't point at the shot attempts so they criticize him for scoring at the best efficiency of his 17 year career? Are you kidding me? )
