Default Do you think Francis will have a good year.

I think Francis will have a good year. This year I think Isiah will bring out the best in Francis. The kid is still packed with talent and should not be slept on.

Francis is exactly as good as Marbury, same style, same height, age, position, attitude, etc.etc. If Isiah Thomas likes Marbury, he will also like Francis. I see Marbury and Francis having identical numbers this year. Our backcourt will be phenomenal.

I think it depends on minutes and consistency. Somebody is not gonna get a lot of playing time...

marbury,francis,crawford,Q,rose,or nate.

Fransis looked very bad last year. However, with sufficent playing time and a fixed rotation, I expect he will improve.

Yes there are going to be a lot of disgruntled knicks on the bench who get little playing time -- unless trades are made.

I don't see Jalen playing the 2 so you can take him out.
And I think Q is going to be playing the sf.

So you are left with:

Marbury/Nate
Francis/Jamal

And with that rotation I think that Nate minutes are really going to be cut. He might only see 10 minutes a game.

I disagree. To me, SF appeared very turnover prone, took and missed a lot of bad shots and seemed like he was very uncomfortable on the court. But LB made a lot of knicks feel uncomfortable by assigning new and very different roles. Just look at Marbury.

With LB gone, SF could play much better. We will see.

he should have a good year but marbury and francis needs to defer to channing and curry more through the season. those guy are very key. when u have a big man tanbem like that any gaurd combination should defer to those guys. but is all on there development. if curry plays up to his potential and channing played like the first months of last season with marbury and francis they can be very dangerous.

they both score very similarly, however, Marbury is the better distributor. The Knicks should try to use Jamal Crawford and Mardy Collins to help with any mismatch problems. I would definitely keep the two seperate and have them work on their defence.

Eddy Curry needs to come back with a vengence. He wanted the entire world to give him a chance. The Knicks gave it to him and has not played his best basketball. Hopefully this season, he will have more fire in his belly. We gave up lottery picks for him, he has to work out this season (literally and figuratively).

DEFINITELY, IT GIVES A DIFFERENT LOOK AT OUR TEAM. A back court that creates turnovers! People who show the desire to play defence. Solid passing and selfless play

Its good running into someone who knows the height and ability of our players. Makes a fellow Knick fan feel good!
