Default Bucks targeting Carney?

There's been a lot of chat about trading Mo Williams for a late lottery pick, and this latest quote from Chad Ford may give us some insight as to how Larry Harris would spend that pick:

An ideal trade would be for a mid-to-high first-round pick. Their target appears to be Rodney Carney, though a bruising big guy like Shelden Williams or Cedric Simmons could also make some sense here.

Thoughts? I'd prefer Brewer, but Carney would be very nice as well.

And if we can't get either of them, there's always James White.

Would we really draft guys that we didn't work out? I would think that if we wanted a lottery pick, we would have traded for it by now, because otherwise we're drafting in the dark.

Yeah, that's pretty wierd. I don't really know how trades like this for mid-firsts usually go down so I'll just have to trust Harris's moves.

We didn't workout Ilyasova last year, did we? Guess it'd be kinda like that in terms of mystery. 'Cept these are college guys who are pretty well known already for what they can do.

Yeah, watching tape of 20+ games should suffice, plus you have all the test results from the combine. You just don't know what they're like as a persona I guess.

I definatly like Rodney Carney. I think he's a better version of Andre Iguodala and would be a great SF for the future. But I just don't see anything like this happening.
