From the Baylor win to the regular season Vanderbilt win (span of 15 games, including most of conference play), Sonny Weems averaged 19 points, 5 rebounds, and shot close to 50% from the field. All this on a very balanced team that doesn't make anyone player the focal point of the offense.

Then he averaged 22.3 points on 57% during a 3 game stretch starting with the SEC championship game against Georgia and ending with the beatdown against North Carolina.

[quote=i seen hippos]1. Robin Lopez. If he goes late first/early second. Once he works on his offensive game a bit, he will be a huge steal. Not an all-star, but a huge steal nonetheless.

A HUGE steal.

Anyone heard of Serge Ibaka? I think he may fit into this category.

Darrell Arthur will be the steal of the draft if he's picked after the lottery. He's ready to contribute in the NBA right now unlike the raw, under-skilled bigs that will be drafted in the lottery.

Big man projects = getting your GM fired in 3 years. Especially whoever drafted D. Jordan.

nicolas batum from france is another guy thats borderline lottery in most drafts.heres his vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PT7SV6qAGGQ

had a 23 and 21reb game this year.hes a sleeper

Edit: dropped 24 and 15 on nc state, 24 and 7 on kansas state,21 and 10 on penn state (teams he played in bigger conferences)

When I first saw this thread I immediately thought of him.

Also JJ Hickson may be a sleeper but hes only a freshman and another year in college will do him good.

Hes hyped up as the next Shawn Kemp but hes played against very weak talent and hes relied upon his athleticism most of the time. The guy is very athletic but you can get away with that playing against lower levels of competition. I haven't seen him enough to see if he has a mean streak, but if he has that aggressive attitude that makes him want to dunk everything ala Amare, he will be a good player. If not then he will be another guy with wasted potential.

I agree with Richard Hendrix being overlooked. He'll never be a star, but I guarentee he will be among the 7-8 best players in the draft, despite being regarded as a late first rounder.

Birth Place Nashville, TN
Height 6-4
Weight 230 lbs.
Position G-F

Junior guard and All-SEC selection Jamont Gordon is one of the country's most versatile players, averaging 17.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 4.8 assists.

If he comes out I would love to steal this guy in the latter rounds.

In the the tourney game against memphis st he played 38 min 7-16 from the field against a good defensive team
11 REBS 5 ASSIST WITH 21 PTS.

Jamont Gordon of Miss St reminds me of a young Anthony Peeler before the drugs.

17.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 4.8 assists this could be the of the steal of the draft if he comes out.

Danilo is ranked in top 10 or so on most major draft boards, so its kind of hard to claim that he's unknown or underrated.

if sam young, small foward/power forward from pittsburgh, decides to come out, he'll be a sleeper. he can jump out of the gym. also has a good mid range game and can make 3 pointers.

but i hope he stays at pittsburgh just because im from pittsurgh and they have a lot of talent returning. maybe enough to win a national championship.:)
