Yeah but we were all being positive and someone came and killed the mood with one post. I'd be pissed too.

I'd do it in a heartbeat! KB+KG = instant championship contenders for the next whatever years. Too bad this isnt likely to happen though, but one can always hope

Ain't KG worth more than brown and odom..? I'm not a great lakers fan but if the trade would happen, you would have a dynamic team with kobe and KG (champions?). But I don't see KG wanting to L.A. (and what would Kobe think of a another francishe player)

Don't get me wrong, I agree with most of your reply, but better
than Kareem and Magic? Come on!!! Five rings, 9 trips to the finals,
I can go on.....

If we need to add another player to make it even throw in Green, or Shammond.

Quick questions:

How does trading KG to a team within the conference help the TWolves become contenders?

Why shouldn't Mchale trade KG to the East, where he doesn't have worry about seeing him in the playoffs?

Why would Mchale trade KG to a team(the Lakers) that would become instant contenders and squash any chance of his team to compete for a title?

How does giving away KG and getting Odom/Brown make the TWolves better then they are right now?

How many times does Mchale have to say that KG isn't getting traded before people realise that maybe he isn't getting traded?

nah. not close. Look at everything Magic accomplished and his stats. his avg assists per game is the best in NBA history. Yes, Kobe avgs lots of points, but does so with a very low shooting percentage.

Sounds like someone never saw Magic rack up triple doubles on
a regular basis, many in the playoffs. Never saw his love for the
game that is at least what Kobe's is. Never saw Kareem knock
down 37,000+points....

Kobe is the best player in the game today, no doubt, but is he the
best all time at his position? No (MJ still has that title). Magic is the
best all time ...... You need a few more rings Kobe!! I'll be first
in line to support this when you do.

hey magicman..you quoted me...I was the one supporting Magic in the debate, not Kobe. Kobe does not (yet) rank in Magic's league.
