there's actually quite a few side effects associated with the use of hyperbaric chambers, included is premature aging, because the increase oxygen increases metabolism... the use in effect speeds up the biological clock in effect speeding up healing...

an injury that may take 6 weeks to heal can be healed in a few days of use, but the user has also aged 6 weeks or more in that time...
do a google on the pros and cons of hyperbaric use... tons of good info out there

in the mid 90's the cannucks players got hooked on the use of the thing and created quite a study in the pros and cons of the chamber and it's use...

WTF.

So if a 6 year old kid got that treatment, would he look 20 when he's only 14?

lol..probably not... that would take alot of therapy...
an intersting thing i read is that divers who spend a long time in them recovering from the bends, will get six days of beard growth in one night... just think you could rob a bank, spend 2 days in the thing and have the perfect disguise when you come out!

Can we please stop trying to be medical experts... lets face it, those of you that keep wanting to blame the Lakers medical staff, trainers, etc., don't know sh!t, and you need to knock it off. There is absolutely no foundation for the argument and its just wasting space on this board.

Let it go for God's sake!!!!

(ahh, that felt better!)
