I did not watch the game, but I did just check the box score and Granger & Dunleavy had their usual outstanding games. Granger had 35 pts. & 9 rebs. Dunleavy had 26 pts. & 6 dimes. Those two players especially deserve to go to the playoffs based on how hard & well they play every night. I am still loyal to my Pacers though, each and everyone of them.
Damn, that loss to Charlotte was just ridiculous. There were so many winnable games that we've lost this year, that's what caught up with us. Gotta give this squad credit though. I mean, we were a dismal 35-47 last year, but if you would have told me that we would end with the same, or better record than we had last year without JO or Tinsley for most of the season, I would have called you a mindless fool. Impressive season to build on. My prediction: We're in next year.
Ahh, I love hearing your words of wisdom, you seem to soothe my fanhood.
THANKSSS ... people got to remember, its not always the pick you get. A lot of it depends on scouting. Pacers scouting has been pretty good. We managed to get Granger at 17 and Tins in the late 20's. Take a look at the Spurs, Ginobili was a second rounder and Paker was a late first round pick.
pssssh. not very. nosebleed seats but i took 3 kids w/ me. i missed all but 2:30 of the 3rd quarter taking them to the store there. didn't even buy anything. highlight of the night was Bowser coming all the way up there down our row and messing w/ the kids. they got a kick outta that.
got to watch walsh's 10 second speech about leaving the pacers organization. the knicks were clapping(thomas probably told them to).
