USA team will dominate the competition. Nuff said.

Seriously, who's going to stop Kobe and LeBron? No one.

Kobe and LeBron will be surrounded with a few good guards and forwards and they"ll be unbeatable.

Seriously, USA will dominate. The rest of the world can't touch this USA team.

It's going to be different this time. I don't like the USA but they will sweep the competition.

BTW, why are you wearing a FIBA avatar? FIBA is the most terrible and the most corrupted org. in the world. I hate those bastards.

Elton Brand (Los Angeles Clippers)
Kobe Bryant (Los Angeles Lakers)
Dwight Howard (Orlando Magic)
LeBron James (Cleveland Cavaliers)

Antawn Jamison (Washington Wizards)
Joe Johnson (Atlanta Hawks)
Shawn Marion (Phoenix Suns)
Brad Miller (Sacramento Kings)
Adam Morrison (Gonzaga University)
Lamar Odom (Los Angeles Lakers)
Chris Paul (New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets)

Paul Pierce (Boston Celtics)
J.J. Redick (Duke University)
Michael Redd (Milwaukee Bucks)
Luke Ridnour (Seattle Supersonics)
Amaré Stoudemire (Phoenix Suns)
Dwyane Wade (Miami Heat)

Decent list... Michael Redd's not playing... I'd replace him with Paul Pierce (who probably should have made the list in the first place)... We need another big body, so I'd probably also replace Odom with Brad Miller. For some reason, Brad Miller is consistently underrated...

Marion over Odom!

Dwight Howard and Chris Bosh are going to dominate

What sucks is that we kind of have to have Luke Ridnour and Joe Johnson in our lineup since we have no Chauncey or Redd.

So the question of Marion or Odom...who would be more beneficial for the team? Each brings there own useful strength.

It is going to be really exciting to watch these two play together, one is potent on offense, one is potent on the boards. Great combo, I can't wait to see them together

I'd actually prefer Brad Miller and Elton Brand starting

maybe Brand, but Miller? I know you're high on his game being ideal for international ball, but still, it's Brad Miller. for god sakes man, let him go!

Exactly. His game is ideal for international ball. Far more ideal than Dwight Howard, that's a fact.

And Bosh will be good as a key reserve

Brad isn't exactly Mr. Tough though, he's kind of soft actually, and plus, when was the last time a team with Brad Miller as the Center ever won anything? sorry man, I like the Idea of Brad Miller (the passing, etc), but the actual Brad Miller isn't going to lead the USA to Gold.

at least you agree Bosh will be good. Can't argue with a big man who can shoot extremely well and has a quick first step

Miller should be there but not starting. I want Dwight down there to block and alter shots and secure every rbound to start fast breaks. Plus he can finish hard

Actually, he'd be better than Dwight running around clueless on that court, struggling to get into range, whistled for 3-sec. violations, and committing defensive mistakes. Brad's a smart player. His ability to make great passes and hit the 15-20ft. shot is key

It dont matter whos on the field. If the players don't change their attitude and adjust their game to the FIBA rules it will be another nightmare for you guys. Hope Team Germany (Runner-ups EURO 2005) will be well prepared! :)
