Default hoops summit

the nike hoops summit in portland was another great matchup of talent

this game imo has been better than the mcdonalds game for nba scouting of players over the last several years

there may have been as many as 4? first round picks on the international team- and ucla has to be excited that all 4 of their recuits will be ball players- gordon impressed me the most- holiday is very solid and both pg's will be effective

i dont see scotty hopson being that far if at all behind tyreke evans and demar derozen-i like the fit for hopson at tennessee

here were imo- the most impressive prospects for the world team

-alexis ajinca 7-1 c france- this guy is the real deal, i dont see how he is not a lottery pick and could see him going 5-10-

-serge ibaka 6-10 pf congo- bigger stronger tyrus thomas? - very good power foreward body and skills- not a #1 scoring type, but would be great in a denver,la, or dallas

-tim olbrect 6-11 pf gemany- not quite dirk sized of skilled- but imo much more skilled and athletic than many of the role playing bigs like scola, elson, oberto

-boban marjanovic 7-4 c serbia - special personality to go with tremendous size- athletically i like his chances alot- much better pureathlete than a big Z or maybe even yao- looks to have frame to add strength, but looks to me to be maybe a bigger further along and more offensive(less defesive) hasheem thabeet

also the world pg javicasous is a 6-5is versoin of beno udirih and to me would be a good second or late 1st rd pick

other world prospects id like to see or at least hear more about are
-rodrique beaubous 6-3 pg france
-danilo gallinari 6-10 sf italy
-nicolas batum 6-8 sg france

last i remember i thought batum was a top 10 pick

how do you all sort out these and other world prospects?
