Default Discuss: Who doesnt want to see Lakers vs Mavs - Rd 1

aside from not wanting your team to face the other, why would you NOT want to see this first round matchup??

Besides if they do meet, that means we get to see the Hornets vs Nuggets in round 1 too.

Go Hornets, Go Nuggets

Supposedly Byron Scott will be playing the starters in limited minutes tonight so the Hornets will probably be facing Dallas in the 1st.

I'd rather see a high scoring fast tempo game with the Lakers-Nuggets matchup.

I see. So Byron wants to help out his old team.

Maybe they rather play Dallas over Denver.

I think they matchup better in terms of pace and positions with Dallas. Either way it's going be hard.

A Lakers-Mavericks series would be a tough matchup for both teams.
I expect 6 or 7 games, with chances for both teams!

If the Mavs play the Lakers we(the mavs) are gonna get crushed by Kobe + refs.

That's debateable. In my opinion Dallas has the advantage at SG, SF, and maybe PF(Nowitzki and West are good players). Their centers are evenly matched and Paul works better with his team.

So they're close with Dallas being slightly better and definately more experienced.

Dallas having advantage at SG and only slight advantage on PF?
Well that's your opinion but SG has to be one of our worst spots.
