Just found something interesting in NBA.com
I looked at the final season stats for my 2 TOP DOGS (KOBE & LBJ) and I found out that even though Lebron leads the league in PPG with 30.00ppg (KObe is at 28.3 ppg), the Black Mamba actually leads the league in total points scored with 2,323 (LBJ is at 2,250).
Kinda weird don't you think? (well, not really since LBJ did miss 6 games but I was a bit surprised coz he was a +1.7 in ppg which is actually very big if you put it in perspective.)
I know that Kobe has actually done this before but I can't remember what year it was but I do know that it was one of the years that T-Mac led the league in scoring.
Also, could you tell me of other players that led the league in total points scored but didn't win the scoring title? I'm just a bit curious.
P.S. If you deem that this topic does not deserve its own thread then please move it to the Kobe bryant thread. That is all
