The Los Angeles Sparks outscored visiting San Antonio 23-12 in the fourth period to win 58-53. Candace Parker recorded a scored 17 points and grabbed 15 rebound. Lisa Leslie netted 18. Becky Hammon scored a team-high 17 for the Silver Stars.

The Connecticut fans received a special treat today as they witnessed their Sun team defeat the Seattle Storm, 80-76, but they laso had a chance to watch seven former UConn Husky players together on the same court. The Storm has Sue Bird and Swin Cash while the Sun has Asjha Jones, Tamika Raymond, Barbara Turner, Svetlana Abrosimova and Ketia Swanier.
