Default man to man defence and peripheral vision

"Position your head so that you can see both with your peripheral vision" is my peripheral vision where i can see both the ball and the man im guarding without focusing both eyes on them? (hope you can understand what im trying to say)

Yeah.

Look at the other net and you should be able to see your oponnent your guarding, keep one arm on him if you want to make sure you know where he is. By looking at the other net, you should still be able to see your oponnent and the ball, I know what you mean, it's a good tip.
