I figured we could get one of these started so we don't have to keep making new threads. Scola, could you sticky this?
Suns are tonight or tomorrow, can't remember which, but I'll be watching. I like our play lately, and if we can steal Game 3 on the road, we'll have all the momentum going into Game 4. I think we'll have some problems generating offense on the road, and Phoenix's early 10-point leads could turn into 16-18 point leads with their homecourt. I think we can pull it out if we make the best of all our chances and play smart, and drive the basketball. Creating turnovers will be big, as well.
Hopefully this thread doesn't have to end early, I think it will be continuing at least until the Lakers series (I think we'll win this series and the next, L.A. will be a big struggle).
Hm.... Only 5 posts? We need to get this thing alive! How do you guys think we match up with New Orleans? Their bench isn't too intimidating, but they have a great starting lineup. We can't let CP3 run wild on us, and we should try and control the glass. We're the San Antonio Spurs, and we thrive on playoff basketball. I think we will win this one in 6. What do you guys think?
The Spurs will make any team play their game. If not then they surprise them and play whatever tempo the opponent is playing... which really throws them off.
The Hornets have not been in a second round playoff series. They don't know that the level of play goes up. They are still playing Regular Season basketball... the Spurs have kicked it up in round one and they are going to go to even a higher level of basketball in round 2.

I absolutely can't wait for this match up. I am anxious to see playoff Spurs against this good young team. They have really surprised me thus far this season and being able to knock out the Mavs without too much effort. Should be a great series. I wonder how Pop will decide who to play on Chris Paul, will it be Tony or Bruce getting into his head. I'm ready for this to get going!
