you guys got to keep maggette. he's one of the strongest gaurds in the leage. i started watching the clips because of him
this guy was a couple years older than me and went to fenwick by the westside of chicago right by my house
this guys was killin, one of the most dominant high schoolers i seen(besides ronnie fields and kg)
i can't believe he was coming off the bench for you guys, thats weak sauce
the clips should be real good this year
oh and to the guy that said trade for ai
you got to be joking that would be the worst, ai's a priqk
he'd mess your whole team up, plus you allready got cassel
peace from the go

As for the trade idea, it is the best one so far beyond the AI rumors.
Using the trade machine, I found no other good trading partners
for the Clips in a Max trade. I suggest posters do their homework like
the man who posted the Rashard idea. The trade works under the
cap and meets the needs of both trading partners especially the
Clips who would need a SF in exchange for Maggette. Rashard
with his outside shot would add to the Clip offense and step in
as the starting SF. Plus his contract is favorable for the Clips while
Max has a contract favorable to the Sonics and his game would
help them.

With such a trade, the Clip lineup would be:

Starters
PG Sammy
SG Cat
SF Rashard
PF EB
C Kaveman

Key Reverses
PG/SG Livingstick
SG/SF Q Ross
SF/PF Timmy Thomas
SF/PF Jumping James Singleton
C Aaron Williams

Prediction: First in the Pacific and in the Conference Finals.
If we can get Rashard for Magette and Ewing, I say pull the trigger that is a hell of a player we can get in return for those two players. A 2nd round draft pick can be thrown in as well. We are going to have two first rounds next year(Minn. will definately be better than a 10th lottery pick Team)

I would love to see Rashard on the Clips. I think that kind of deal is possible. Seattle doesnt want to pay him, but also want something back.

Red face Agreed on Rashard and I give credit

to a poster in another forum who came up with the idea.
Maggette should only be traded for similar or better talent.

Trade him to the Cavs for Ilgauskas or however you spell that freakishly tall guy. Ilgauskas is a pretty damn good center in my opinion. Then you can trade Kaman or Ilgauskus to the T-wolves for Ricky Davis...a guy who can play the 2,3 and play really good defense for you, plus is a good scorer, a veteran and still pretty young at 27 I think. Do this just before the trade deadline so both teams can assess their given situations. Or you could trade for Randy Foye...i don't know if the T-wolves would take it though. Maggette is such a pimp, but his basketball IQ has to be the worst in the league.

Thumbs up Keep the MAX

Max will be key part and this is X factor in a banner season for the Clips.
Look for him to stay healthy if he accepts a new role as the 6th man where
he can run through the opposition's second teams like a Bull in a china shop.
