Not close. Maybe had that offer been made when it was the 1st overall pick and not the 1st overall pick bust Bargs and TJ hadn't had another big injury.

I'm not gonna turn this thread into a flame-war but that trade is ridiculous. All-Star Small Forward and a rebounding Center who can have big games, for a oft-injured, inconsistent point guard (plus they have Gil), and a soft 7 footer who has thus far been a bust.

If Washington were planning to rebuild and we threw in a pick it would be a possibilty, but not now, they are only getting better, and this trade hurts their team.

Would be perfect for the Raptors though.

Butler?! He makes $9mil per year. That is about the best bargain you are going to get for an all-star and guy that brings it every night. No way they trade him.

Like stated he would be great for the Raptors but not going to happen.
