Don't be silly. You're talking about the best player on the planet. Anyone on this board with a brain would give up any combination of anything on the Raptors roster in order to get Kobe.

Suns are shopping Barbosa and Diaw for first round picks
http://basketball.realgm.com/src_wir...arbo_for_pick/
could we get Leandro Barbosa for our first round pick and maybe a filler for our team.

I'd prefer Diaw to Barbosa.

iono. barbosa is instant offense off the bench. diaw was good with phoenix but then he just started declining. He just doesnt have an identity as a player... a specific playing style. he somewhat of a point forward when he first started with the suns. double figure points, good number of rebounds, good number of assists in some games - close to triple doubles if i remember correctly.

either way, are they worth a first?

We're talking about the #17 pick here....vs two established NBA talents. The Suns will not be looking at the #17 for either of these guys with fillers from us. No way. I know they want to shed salary but still.

I agree... it would take us more than just #17 for any of these players.... maybe #17 + player + cash...

between Diaw and Barbosa, I think Barbosa's value should be higher, but Diaw seems to be a better fit with the raptors.

http://www.latimes.com/sports/basket....column?page=2

Lakers apparently want more perimeter shooting especially with their interior getting upgraded with Bynum coming back.

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/feature...28&te =&cash=

Rasho and Kapono for Odom

Not the hugest fan of Odom and don't think he is a second option kind of player but it would be an upgrade in he can get to the basket more effectively than what we have now and also and upgrade in rebounding.

Then trade T.J. Ford + expiring contracts + 17th for Jamal Crawford + 6th round pick. Draft Brook Lopez or DeAndre Jordan. (rumored to happen atm).

I'd rather have Odom and the 17th and draft R. Lopez...Deandre Jordan has looked like crap in the workouts...nor do I ever want to see Crawford in a Raps uniform...volume shooter...not the greatest defender and not that much of a pass first attitude. He is the anti Colangelo type.

Yes that's true. Lakers get pretty much hosed in that deal. Got caught up in the Laker fans ripping on the guy I guess.

Just read a rumour of Magg and #7 for Barbosa and #15! That is disgusting for the clips. Can you imagine Barbosa actually running a team? It would be a train wreck I think. That guys is great off the pine to score and score only.

They also trade down in the process . If you want to get ripped off, send him to Toronto for a real point guard at least. I thought LA was set on Eric Gordon but whatever.
