Default Carmelo Anthony Considers Himself The Nuggets' Dipping Sauce

Quote:
DENVER

Small forward Carmelo Anthony admitted to his teammates Tuesday that he regards himself as the tasty honey mustard sauce into which the battered and deep-fried Nuggets basketball team is dipped. "I do my best to be a zesty flavoring explosion all over the court," Anthony said, adding that he was so delicious that you always wanted a little more. "This team might be hot and crispy, but they'd be a little bland without my ability to be sweet and tangy all at once." Anthony added that guard Allen Iverson was the breading that held the team together, and the rest of his teammates were the lean meat that was minced, processed, and packed into the shape of the Nuggets.

Interesting article

Well the dipping sauce could be gone pretty soon, along with Camby.

Quote:
Multiple league sources said the Nets and Nuggets have discussed a blockbuster deal that would bring Anthony and Marcus Camby to New Jersey. In return, Denver would get a package that includes Richard Jefferson, Marcus Williams, Keith Van Horn's contract and the Nets' lottery pick. There likely is more involved to make the salaries match up, but the sources said the trade could happen, making Tuesday's draft lottery even more important.
Sources say the Nets and Nuggets have been talking trade, with Carmelo Anthony and Richard Jefferson as key principals.

Holy sh*t they've completely lost their minds. Hell, I wouldn't even do that trade for only KMart or even Nene, let alone Carmelo friggin' Anthony and Camby, whom is Denvers only defense. Richard Jefferson? Richard Jefferson? C'mon now, get real!!! All I have to say is **** you Kiki and that hopefuly this trade doesn't go down.

hahahha seriously, if that deal goes through and the Nuggets have a worse record than in the 2008-2009 season I will stop being a Nuggets fan, no point in watching a team that trades away its savior.

EDIT: I'm not worried though, that Jersey paper is the only one suggesting that the deal with the Nets could go through, in fact the RMN has an article on how it's probably NOT going to go through.

Actually, ESPN has it on their rumor page too.

this whole thing is why i always liked kiki so much- he shoots for the stars- he talked for years about jason kidd, i thought kidd was coming- kiki will do something in nj- i still believe kiki picks IF amare over skita, we still have the cba gaurds the next year and win melo, maybe he gets kidd and decides the next year to spend the rest of the cash on ginobli instead of kmart & nugs are the best team ever right? so close
kidd& miller or arenas
ginobili
melo
amare
camby/nene
