I want the Bucks to move up to #24 to grab him.

Magloire for Battier and 24.

He'd be a perfect fit on the Bucks. Are you planning on starting Battier at the 4 and/or trading Simmons if this happens?

The best comparison for him is Clyde Drexler. He won't get to that level in all probability, but he is the same type of player.
You're right that they're similar TYPES of players, but they're so far off in level that it's kind of misleading. But that is a good comparison. Very Poor Man's Drexler is on point.

.but he did lose in the NCAA contest cause he lost the handle on it

James White lost in the McDonald's All-American and college slam dunk contests, but he is a lock to win the NBA slam dunk contest?

Both of them you are punished for missing dunks. Like you used to be in the NBA. As long as the current format stands, James White will win the dunk contest, there isnt anyone who can make 4 better dunks with unlimited attempts unless someone else one ups him and beats him to the through the legs FT line dunk.

The starting Battier at the 4 idea has been thrown around...I'm not sure I'd be comfortable with it, but I could live with it for a season. Just as long as we addressed the situation next year...either trading Simmons or moving him to the bench and getting an actual 4.

what about:

Simmons and a throw in for Kenyon Martin
Magloire and 2nd for 24 and Battier
James White at 24

Mo can be thrown into either of the first two deals if nec.

Ford/Bell
Redd/White
Battier/Kukoc
Martin/Smith
Bogut/Gadz

You don't think he could be a third wing and a change of pace bench player considering his ability to make exciting plays and improvement in basically every area of the game? nobody's calling him a starter even. Everybody wants him off their bench. Considering the Bucks roster he fits right in considering they got a scorer at the 2 and assuming they get Battier a roleplayer at the 3.. get a big play guy who runs the floor off the bench.

Yes it does because you dudes are off into fantasy land saying how good a pickup he will be, how high he should go blah blah blah...maping out the future and panning out the player who is known for his incredible dunkin ability.

You list lottery prospects here and you can find people roasting them.

"Mardy Collins had a crap workout!"
"Rudy Gay is overrated, guy doesnt have heart"
"Marcus Williams stats are blah blah, he aint that special."

Yet James White is getting more love then the top prospects in this draft. Get real. He does nothing special as a player.

He's not overrated at all. Late 1st/early 2d is where is should be going. He might be a little overrated on this board, however.I saw someone suggest that he should be a lottery pick. That's much too high.

Me would = one very, very happy person. I'd say that's at least a 50 win team. Much improved defensively. Not ot mention those trades make sense for all teams involved. Memphis gets the center they want, and Denver gets the shooter they so desperately need (then Nene can become the full-time starting PF).

The NBA is considering limiting attemts for this year's dunk contest.

I'd say they'll do it because a lot of people weren't happy that Nate Robinson won after trying one dunk nearly 20 times.

Hi college hoops fans my name is secondfiddle i'll be invading this forum for the next two weeks. Many of you guys don't know me because I never frequent this forum. This is my first post and I hope you love it and much as I enjoyed writing it.

What team do I think James White is going to by Second fiddle.
James White is a very good player, but he sucked at Florida so i'll say Orlando and Miami are out because they remember those bad ole days he had in gainsville(is that how you spell it) gains and ville. So that leaves 28 more teams. Utah likes their players white but not white's that are black, so that leaves 27 teams. bluh ................bluh.......................bluh... ...........bluh
and Larry Brown hates guys that......bluh........blug..............bluh...... .....
That leave San Antonio and New Orleans I think one of those two teams will draw SecondFiddle,,,oh I mean.......... what's his name again ......................... James White
