There is nobody more annoying in the entire sports broadcasting world. His constant referals to TV show or movies with players names in the title makes me want to throw a brick at the TV every single time. If I ever met him I'd probably just punch him in the face.

Everytime I watch the Raptors pre-game (on Sportsnet or RaptorsTV), everything goes fine, but when it's on the Score, Adnan Virk insists on jumping onto the broadcast halfway through and completely taking things over. **** off, eh?

I guess everyone likes different things. I agree with you 100%, but it was also how I felt to hear Swirsky's random sayings...mojo, salami, onions etc etc etc
But that's just me, no disrespect to those who liked him.

Speaking of Norma, why exaclty what she let go again? My mom asked me a couple days ago because her and Norma knew each other growing up (they went to school together I think).
I appreciate whoever gives me an answer as to why exactly she was let go. I could probably just look it up, but I am too lazy.

Back to the Chuck situation, I think more and more everyday that it will be Eric Smith doing theplay by play. He does the play by play on the FAN590, as Chuck did before he got his promotion, and he is already employed by RaptorsTV (Double Dribble, etc.), it would seem like a logical choice.
All i hope for is that Leo Rautins doesnt get re-signed cuz that motherf(_)cker was getting real annoying...On the other hand gotta make Jack Armstrong permanant! HELLO!

Nelson Millman, FAN590 boss just announced on Chuck Swirsky's Show that Jack Armstrong will have his radio show at 2-4 spot while Doug Faraway will take the rest of afternoon spot at 1-2.

Swirsky will be missed. Just watching some old Raptor games with the team that won the playoff series against da Knicks ---Boogie, Oak, AD, Wince. Different era...teams come and go...but Swirsky was the one constant. It's gonna be weird not having him call games.
There was a new girl during the second half of the season that pretty much did the same job as Norma. I can't recall her name, tried looking her up on the website but they didn't have any Staff Biographies. I like what you said about teams come and go but Chuck was the one constant, so true.
