if Carlos Arroyo is this good with dribble penetration and outside shooting.. why isn't he given more minute and more opportunities to shine instead of being a low tier bench player?

looks like someone needs to work more on his gamesmanship and less and bad mouthing the US.

Did you see Arroyo play in Orlando? Detroit was the wrong system with Billups in front of him, Sloan the wrong coach.

i thoroughly enjoyed the announcers on ESPN 2 who commentated the game.

the guy said:

"Puerto Rico said their upset of the US in Athens was one of their crowning moments. Too bad they finished poorly in the final standings."

It is because he is extremely erractic while being a point guard.

Kirk Hinrich is really a stud... based on that first game.

he should get more exposure as a bona fide player next season.

as for CHris Paul... is his man to man defense incredibly weak? or is Arroyo just too fast to guard?

Yao will drop 50 on Team USA and China will still get blown out.

this tournament has revealed that

Chris Paul has shaky man to man defense.

Chris Bosh should play better defense.. not because he sucks or got exposed, but because this has shown him how to improve his overall game to lead Toronto to the postseason...

Dwight Howard is no the next Shaq. if you give Shaq the ball in such deep position as Howard has gotten it, Shaq would flush it in the other center's face, not get fouled and shoot two free throws (which Howard can make!!!)

Haha, i just re-watched that Yao coast-2-coast play and he actually froze Lebron. He tried to reach, then yao crossed him over and almost finished the play if it wasnt for Shane Battier's charge.
