China was hitting so many 3's against USA. I'm surprised it wasnt a very close game.

hinrich is a stud and so is chris paul but he is better suited for the nba style of play meaning no defense hinrich has a more complete gsme than paul with his d and shooting

Wow, not only do the players on the Chinese National Team suck during the first three quarters, without Yao, they suck in the clutch too.

Ah ha these chinese guards are great, saying they thought they played well. I guess they enjoy mediocrity. Bring Yao back to houston, hes the only one with the desire to win.

I don't know how Yao can put up with these guys. I don't care if he gets kicked off the team swearing at these lazy bums, they deserve it.

Default Yes!

I really like Shane Battier, as an NBA player and international player. He hustles, can rebound, plays good Defense, and has a decent outside stroke. Even though Brad Miller hasn't played as much in the World Championships I still love his game too. In the exhibition game against China he was 4-4 from the three point line. He was just stroking it... my man Brad Miller. Heck I luv all the players on the U.S. team right now.

Slovenia won against Puerto Rico by 8 points.

+ Brezec
+ Lakovic
+ Slokar
+ Zagorac

- Jurak

- - - - -

We led by 22 and than large lead slipped away...

Still a ton of turnovers

Our bigs got a lot of fouls (Brezec 5, Nesterovic 4, Slokar 4).

Still, a solid performance , I hope we do well against China tomorrow.

the Italians got too cocky.

when the game was close in the third quarter, the Italians starteed to try for NBA 3 pointers and missed horribly, and those long rebounds fueld the Carmelo/Wade rally.

if the Italians stayed iwthin their game plan and did not try to go for showmanship, they could have gotten closer and possibly won. did yo usee that botched lob alley oop attempt the ITalians ran at the end? it was picked off instantly.

comon... you only show off when you have the ability to do it ya know?

Team USA made some pretty bad plays....

Lebron driving trough the lane tripping himself.

Wade dunk attempt almost from the 3pt line (that was a travel BTW).

...

Italians played well, but USA has a better team and I don't think they could win it.
