good point, Carmelo really saved the US. Lebron had an off night.

but still, my point is the Italians should not have tried to get too flashy with long NBA range bricks and poor backdoor plays.

Anyone know what the tiebreakers are?

I thought it was point differential, in which case China is pretty much screwed. However, I've heard that its only point differential between the teams that are tied up. PR, Slovenia and China might be tied if China wins against Slovenia and PR loses to Italy. In that case PR might be screwed. Can anyone confirm what tiebreakers exist for the tournament?

HAHA, that China-Slovenia game is the best game I've seen so far. About the last 5 mintues were very close and intense. China came through with 2 huge three's at the end. Not to mention Yao dominating the whole game without rest while putting up 36/10. Kind of funny how a Team China is involved in one of the best games in this tourney.

Slovenia choked because they could have performed better in the fourth, but they definetly have the talent. Slokar is looking like a stud, the Raps drafted a good player (By babcock too weird enough). PR is going to lose to the Italians, they don't have a chance.

There are rumors that he is going to the Clippers.

PR can beat ANYBODY (yes, anybody, even Spain, USA, etc.) given they have their night.

I still think we should have gone with a foul...

I am rooting for Italians... How weird is that.

If it wasn't for BS fouls against Yao, PR wouldn't have even beaten China.

Yao really want this game for his country, it is just funny that most insidehoops posters think that China is forcing Yao to play for the chinese squad,no matter what. i'm 100% sure Yao is patriotic(like most most chinese people are) and he'll be more than willing to play hurt than see the chinese team getting beat up in the tournament

I can't believe it either. Yao's desire to win for China is unquestionable. He isn't 100 percent right now but gives more then 100 percent effort. Just look at his reaction when Wang ShiPeng hit the buzzer beater
