Depends mainly on how the refs treat us now that we're in Los Angeles again, how healthy Kobe is and what Boozer / Gasol will show up.

I for one am looking forward to an interesting game!

I would agree... each team has received the total benefit of the refs on their respective home courts... honestly, I would hate for them to suddenly go inconsistent and "change their rules" to the detriment of either team.

Home court advantage is key here.

I am not certain that the Utah role players can step it up. Some of their play was built off of momentum that the home crowd was giving them.

L.A. played great defense on Utah, but the Jazz, with their system, were still able to find holes. The way they move the basketball is simply amazing, and Jerry Sloan deserves more credit.

Haha.. talk about opposite perspective... as a Laker fan, I am concerned about the Lakers role players...

I guess it just depends on perspective.

I like the Jazz to win. but they're not showing that they're capable of beating LA. this is a very smart Laker team..

Role/supporting players always seem to play better at home, and L.A. has more home games remaining in this series than does Utah, so for that reason alone, I feel that they will close this out soon. You pretty much know what the main cogs are gonna give you, but I think that somewhere in the next 2/3games, Utah is gonna find out that how badly it misses Derek Fisher.

I picked the Jazz to win G3 and G4. So now I'm going to pick the Lakers for Game 5. I think Farmar can still bounce back.

This might be a revenge-type game for Kobe so I expect him to do very well despite his back. Overall it should be a balanced game for everyone.

I agree that home is most important for role players unless you have experience like the spurs. But then again here is to hoping that last years deep playoff run is enough for the Jazz role player to step up and Jazz to pull out the win.

In the next game I'm looking for Kobe to really forcefully insert himself into the offense and really get some deep penetration without any consent from the defense. He's just going to bang it in there whether they like it or not and drop a load of points all over the court when he's done. A guy that talented and strong is just going to take what he wants no matter how hard they resist. The Jazz better just lay back and try to enjoy it, otherwise they might get hurt.

Now to the big problem. I flew home with the team and Kobe Bryant's back is hurting bad. He plays with pain better than anybody I've ever seen, but the back is different. He can't walk correctly. Anybody who has ever had a back problem will tell you that the world stops when your back goes out. Kobe is saying all of the right things, like "I'll be fine....ready to go by Wednesday." But I can tell you this, if the Lakers had to play on Monday night, they would be screwed.

I'll even go as far as to suggest that if Kobe's back doesn't improve, Utah is now the favorite to win this series.

Any words on Kobe's injury? Hope it wasn't too serious.

Kobe will have to hit his jumpshots next game because I doubt he'll have the speed or quickness to get in the lane like he did the first 2 games. It's been a little off the past 2 games but he usually shoots better at Staples.
