I spent the day with Thad, look out Philly

Thad, who will be the speaker at our commencement exercise on Saturday night, also played with our team this year. He was joined by his former Mitchell team member Brandon Powell (Marshall University). What amazed me the most was his patience to sign every autograph from our students who asked. Mitchell High School is in a poor community and Thad is someone that our student body looks up to. He arrived early and we sat in my office and I could see the excitement on his face concerning this past season. He stated that the Pistons were a veteran team and their experience took over. He is also very excited about the future of the Sixers. This of season he is working on his handles and his right hand. With his work ethic, he will be an allstar.
He has given back to our community often this past year. The team ill be much better next year with a good PF and SG. He is very excited.
