Default Hubie Brown and Mike Tirico did their final game of the season last night

That Hubie Brown and Mike Tirico did their final game of the season last night. You mean to tell me Hubie is not going to be around at all for the ECF finals? And what makes the three stooges(Breen, Jackson, Gundy)

ABC/ESPN #1 annoucing team?

Hearing that last night was tough to digest.

It's sucks that a man like Hubie won;t be heard after the 2nd round. Now I have to listen to idiots like Doug Collins who whines instead of analyzing.

Sad News? Mike Tirico is the ultimate LeBron slurper and is boring as hell to listen to. Dude knows nothing about basketball other than to deep-throat LeBron James. Put him and that Doris Burke chick together on a broadcast and they'd literally be making love to Lebron on National TV.

This is actually GREAT NEWS!!!

I like Hubie, but I've definitely heard enough of him the past few years. I enjoy JVG as a nice change of pace, and I haven't heard everythin ghe has to say yet.

Breen/JVG would be the GOAT of announcing teams if they didn't have Mark Jackson throw in to ruin everything. I can't ****ing stand the way he talks or what he says.

BTW, where has Bill Walton gone? He hasn't called a game in forever. Can you imagine JVG and Walton together? Hilarity would no-doubt ensue.

Terrible taste in this thread. Van Gundy is the only thing that makes that trio remotely listenable. Jackson has the personality of a cardboard box, and Breen is your typical faceless generic broadcaster with a voice that passes right through you.

And Tirico is great. Weird how just because he's likeable and friendly with the players he talks to, that's somehow a knock on him. Does each and every radio/tv host need to be an obnoxious d*ckhead with his head up his own ass?

See, I used to feel this way, but then I realized just how well Jackson fits in with the other two. Stick him by himself with Breen or Marv or Harlan or whoever you want and he'd be just as bad as Reggie. Maybe, maybe, worse (and that's a powerful statement). But there's no denying that he has excellent chemistry with JVG and Breen, and because of that, they're better as a unit than they'd ever be individually.

I think his ankles are acting up, although I'm not positive about that. I know it's health related though.
