Derrick Rose vs. Jerryd Bayless=The Next Chris Paul/D.Will Rivalry

You know how when CP3 and D. Will came into the league everyone was comparing the two and asking who was better? Yeah they are still doing it, but do you think Bayless and Rose will get the same type of attention or do you think there won't be many comparisons to the two.

I personally think Bayless is better than Rose which I said in another thread. Bayless is a better shooter and at 6'3, a better athlete. Rose is more explosive and has a quicker first step but there point guard skills are about even. Rose's point guard skills are overrated. If you watched Memphis, alot of times CDR was the primary ball handler.

Anyone else think Bayless and Rose will get the same attention?

Who is bayless though? He's a tweener. He's not even close to Rose's level. The thing with Paul and Deron is they played against each other in college in the biggest of games (#1 versus #3 for example). They had the rivalry thing going before they even entered the league. besides, bayless doesn't really belong in the conversation. Rose...sure. But not bayless...lol

But seriously though...Rose averaged 4 assists per game and he's all of sudden the best pg prospect in the draft. Like I said before, he's a good player but his point guard skills are overrated. Bayless is better at taking over games offensively and by getting his team involved imo. Bayless can play the point guard on any team.

That doesn't mean it won't be a rivalry for the first couple seasons of there careers. There was a Telfair/Marbury rivalry when Telfair came into the league. What's your point?

But people hyped the game up every time the two played during Telfair's first season. They even nationally televised a couple of the games.
