More offense that way, and this team has been offensively challenged for way too long.
Kirk's off year, was better than most point guards best years.
Kirk still gets no respect from Chicago fans. Screw it trade him and watch him blow up infront of you. He can play.

He is up there in good company.
Here is what he did at Kansas...
His 4 years he was there (freshmen year he only played about 20 minutes and never really shot the ball, sophmore year was much of the same)
He averaged about 12.5 pts, 4 reb, and 5 ast.
Jr year, 15 pts, 5 reb, 5 ast
Sr year, 17 pts, 4 reb, 3.5 ast
78% from the line
43% from 3PT
49% from the field

Not bad for a player ranked #64th comming out of high school
Derrick Rose was very impressive at Memphis, no doubt.
15 pts, 5 ast, 4.5 reb
He has the skill set and the NBA body to become a Chris Paul type, but he isn't there yet. I think he is being over hyped, I watched him play this season. He didn't do jack in the first half of the biggest game of his life, second half he shows up...until the end of the game where he missed free throws. The guy can flat out play - but don't crown the guy yet. Let's see what he does in his first year - going to a solid team no matter what - he is getting put in a great position.
Also you say you want offense? Then you go with Beasley. He is going to give you 20/10 a night. Rose won't, atleast not in his rookie season. Rose isn't going to be averaging 20 points a game, 15 tops, with a few rebounds and a few asts.
