Default Adambomb's Mock Draft and Analysis V.1

1.Chicago- Michael Beasly.
Provides and extra scoring demension the bulls havent had since Elton Brand- a legit low post scored. Although his work ethnic and defensive ability would be in question and as well as his preferance to face the basket, i cant see why any team wouldnt take him due to his ability as a player tp be a scoring big man willl ultimatly overshadow and will emerge as a star in 2-5 yrs. He has all the tools to be what Derrick Colman should have been.

2. Miami- Derrick Rose
Basically a major need and the next best prospect available to draft. If Rose and Wade can mesh in the frontcourt, they can be a force to be reckin with in the years to come. If Rose pans out as a player and the heat keep Marion, there frontcourt would be what the nets frontcourt should have been with kidd-Dominating.

3. T-Wolvers-OJ Mayo
Although many ppl have suggested they draft Lopez, he has too many things against him. Standford players are always busts, he is soft, not strong enough to bang wit NBA men, and at best an Andrew Bogut. Mayo is the next best guy to pick and will provide a lethal scorer to a depleted arsenal. If he learns to be more team friendly, he could be very similar player to baron davis or gilbert arenas

4. Sonics- Brook Lopez
Im personally not that big of a fan of Lopez but this is a needs pick for the Sonics. Although he will probably never be a star, he can provide some extra boards and size in the paint and his deffeciancys as a player could be shadowed by Durants suberb skills. However, if he ever becomes dominating, sonics would be a very tough force to handle in 4-6 yrs (assuming green and durant become better)

5.Memphis- Jered Bayless
Memphis really need some bigs but the best person available is Bayless. Very unique shoot first PG who should provide some instant scoring and flexibility in the gaurd position. If gains 10-15 pounds and put some muscle on his frame, could play in the sg position and be similar to Ben gordon. (Good trade bait)

6. Knicks- Danilo Gallinari
Good family friend of Dantoni and a legit 6 10 3 point shooter, posibly a better Bargnani. The Knicks could u a pure shooter who should polish in about 3-5 years.

7. Clippers- Eric Gordon
best case scenerio for Gordon-have Bayless and Mayo already drafted. The clippers draft for need because they lack 3 point shooters and pure scores.
His abilities should mesh well with the current Clippers team.

8. Milwuake- Russell Westbrook
This is a needs pick, already having emerging star charlie v and the 1st pick several years ago in Bogut, the bucks need some frontcourt help. Westbrook could because there teams pg over mo williams and relieve some time off Michael Redd

9. Bobcats- Deandre Jordan
This should be an intersting pick but i feed they should draft Jordan out of potenital. Although he has trouble scoring, he athletisism could aid in learning how to play in the post in future and relieve emeka/Nazr of his C role. Will take some time to develop which is ok because it could be worth the wait.

10. New Jersey- Darrel Arthur
With the Emergence as Sean Williams as a defensive specialist, Arthur could be the teams offensive low post presence. Considered by some undersized in the PF position, would be a needs pick. I could see Arthur and Williams being a good backcourt in the years to come.
11. Indiana- Anthony Randoolph

Just too much potential to pass up. With a constant ailing J oneal, the pacers could use some more big help. Although not offensivly polished, will take some time to become good, similar to D Jordan drafted ahead.

12. Sacramento- JaVale McGee
Needs pick, Brad Miller is gettin old an unproductive. Very similar to Andrew Bynum but needs some polish on the Offensive side and a bigger frame, needs more weight

13. Portland- Kevin Love
Will offer Portland another legitament big man, along with Aldridge, to add an extra offensive pressence. Can shoot the 3 point shot and could be a staring PF for years to come. Hometown favorite, good overall value at this pick as well

14. Golden St- Joe Alexander
Alexander should be a good bench player who can eleviate Harrington and Jackson. Not a big fan of him but is the best fit for the team outta the players available

15.Phoenix- Dj Augestin
Will be a blessing if dropped this low, will give a 2nd dimension in PG and will eleviate Nash of some minuted to keep him more fresh. Great pick here.

16. Philadelphia-Marreese Speights
76ers need some big help and he is the next best big man available. Although he has terrible offensive skills, should provide an immendiate defense presance and with some work could add some offensvie tools to his game

17. Toronto- Nicholas Batum
Pretty good potential, very nice size for a swingman, is gonna need on his shooting form and shot but would be a suitible player for years to come if he develops his game.

18. Washington- Roy Hibbert
Adds some size to a guard/foward heavy roster. Will be a good Defense pressence and will get some boards. Very Unatheltic and slow so will be limited in potential and growth, but will get some playin time

19. Cleveland- Donte Green
Very raw player, should have stayed a year and probably would have beem a lottery pick. If he works on his game, especially offensively, will be a good player on the roster. Could be starting PF for years to come

20. Denver- Mario Chalmers
Denver really needs some D on the frontcourt and Chalmers will eliviate pg duties for Denver. Quality pick here to assist carmelo and iverson and should mesh well in the future

21. New Jersey- Chase Budinger
Probably should have stayed another year but will add a strong Offensive presence and is very atheltic. Poor on the Defesnsive side and needs a bigger frame but a steal if he falls this far.

22. Orlando- Chris-Douglas Roberts
This is a quality pick for needs as he presents a 3 point gunner for a team lacking from the outside, will be what jj reddick should have been.
23. Utah- Robin Lopez
Will add some depth for Okur, Boozer, and milsap. Soft inside and not much of a threat with the ball in his hand, will have to be a defensive/rebounding specialist to get some playin time on this already stacked team.

24. Seatle-Jason Thompson
Complete steal if drop this far, has a nice polish on his low post game but must learn how to play D. His frame is NBA ready but needs to gain strengh. Along with Lopez, adds some more depth for the Seattle Bigs

25. Houston- Nathan Jawai
Will take some time to develop but is a very brusing player. Huge frame, decent post skills, good passing but needs major work facing the basket, dribbling for postition and conditioning. Houston needs some more bigs on that roster so good pick here

26. San Antonio- Brandon Rush
Michael Finley is coming up on his formidable years and Rush ia good pick to replace him. Adds an extra scoring dimension with his ability to shoot but has questions on durabily/speed/dribbling. They probably will go with a forign player here, but good value pick so late in the draft

27. New Orleans-Wayne Ellington
Should have come out next year so he will slide some but adds another pure shooter. May not get much playing time early. Needs to add some frame, needs some size and will be a liablity on Defense.

28. Memphis- DJ White
May be too short to play Pf in the NBA but his body frame is NBA ready. Good on D and has motors for legs. Good pick here since missin on Lopez earlier on

29. Detroit- Bill Walker
Many thought he was a top 5 pick a year ago b4 tearin his acl. However, showed flashes of what he was before and is worth the gamble this late in the draft. With as aging roster, he ans Stuckey could be the future.

30. Boston-JJ Hickson
Probably should have stayed in College but good potential pick here.

I really like your draft a lot. Different than a lot of other mock drafts, which I like, but I can also see every picking coming true.

Frontcourt= Center, Power Forward, Small Forward

Backcourt= Shooting Guard, Point Guard

NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND!!! AND LEARN TO FREAKIN SPELL!!!

Not a bad mock draft though, decent, fairly logical picks. Seriously though, you're functionally illiterate.

picks i disagree with

jerryd bayless to memphis- they already have conley, crittenton, and lowry.thats 4 years experience in 3 pg's.

javale mcgee to sacramento- kings desperately need guards(mainly pg's) after the trade of mike bibby.i believe every 1 of their pg's are free agents.also, kings took a young center in the draft last year and still wanna see how he turns out

"Roy Hibbert
Adds some size to a guard/foward heavy roster. Will be a good Defense pressence and will get some boards. Very Unatheltic and slow so will be limited in potential and growth, but will get some playin time
"- dont disagree with the pick,i just dont know where people get the idea that this guy can rebound for them

i also think you have dj white and mario chalmers too high but they're not that big a deal. other than those few things this is a pretty well thought out mock and i could see these picks happening

After reading everyone's mock drafts, it's becoming clearer to me that Gordon is choice because of his shooting abilities. To my understanding, Gordon is a Short shooting guard with Nba ready body. He's an explorer shooter, but is not that good as a passer. If has anymore info on Gordon, Please do share.

Chicago's taking Rose, and then trading Hinrich and/or Ben Gordon for another big, probably a Center.

I agree with you in that they should go for a guard. They have guards in the roster, but it's very unsure if any of them will develop into stars. I think Mayo or Bayless, or possibly even Gordon, is a good pick here. Lopez fills the need, but Mayo or Bayless har more superstar potential.

I think the one thing that stands out most from his game is his ability to finish. Yes, he has a deep range, but he also has a mid range game and he can take it to the basket. He has unbelievable body control and good touch. He can put the ball in the basket. He is really quick too. Not as quick as Bayless, but still really quick. To me it also seems that he has a pretty good head. He played really well under the pressure in tough situations (a good example is the away game at Illinois where the whole crowd were booing him all game long and the atmosphere was really tense and in the end he just took over the game calmly).

There are question marks in him, but I think he can be even better than Ben Gordon.
