Should sneak into the playoffs at 7 or 8 seed.

I don't think they are a true championship contender.
alston is not a top10 SG in leagure.he can not hold Nash,terry,paker....

JUWAN HOWARD is so old,but there are a dozen of excellent PF in west.shone is more familiar with SF than PF.

tmac is not comenback from injury completely and Rockets would be in trouble if he injure again .

Yao did not have enough rest in summer.he was so busy in flying from one country to another and training and playing games.and as everyone know,Motombo is no longer as strong as before

That looks great, except i don't think SVG will start battier on pf position, so it's going to be interesting to see where battier ends up cause of the addition of wells. Howard is just getting too old, but i think he will start, but play just single minutes. So battier can switch on pf, sf and sg. So only question is that will wells or battier start. Anyway it goes, the rockets are going to be playoff caliber!

PG Alston
SG McGrady
SF Wells / Battier
PF Howard / Battier
C Ming

If Tmac and Yao stay healthy, which i doubt:rollingeyes: there is some hope for them to make it into the playoffs as a 4-6 seed. Going deep isn't likely, but certainly second round odds are good.

T-Mac Healthy = Championship Contender
T-Mac Injured = Not a championship contender

I don't think tmac makes THAT much of a difference from championship contender to nothing. No player in the NBA can.

Default T-Mac & Rockets

Yep i agree if T-Mac and Yao stay healthy they will go deep in the playoffs. We'll see tonight when they start the preaseason against grizzlies. With the addition of Bonzi i thought that was a good move. W/ battier at the defensive end....i think we are heading to the right direction. peace out dawgs!
