Re: Eastern Conference Finals, Celtics v Pistons, Game 6, Friday
I just noticed that in looking at that bracket, there hasn't been a single upset yet in the NBA playoffs.
The trend will continue. The big 3 is at a point in their career that they have never been. One win away from the finals. They smell blood, and I feel they will go after it tonight. More to prove, and more hunger.

With Prince locked out this series, for what ever reasons....the Pistons probably don't win this, without Rip playing at 100%. (maybe Dice will go off again?)
Update: I just read that Rip is good to go! (his dad told him to spit on it)

Boston needs to treat stuckey like billups. Hes strong and quick to the basket.
They can not let up on him because he could be a momentum swinger tonight.

Yeah he's basically our Joey Crawford. It goes back years. He doesn't call a ton of shooting fouls on the C's but lots of ticy-tac stuff, and considering both of these teams are so physical on defense I think we'll hear the whistles a lot tonight.
Although, two of the three games (both game 7's) that he's officiated for the C's where fairly light on the whistles and they let the teams play. If tonight was game 7 I'm sure we'd see the same thing, but it's not. Maybe Sheed picks up his 7th tech tonight and has to sit out (a possible) game 7 in Boston

No he's not. Don't get gassed. Rip shouldn't see too many minutes, I don't expect him too anyway. I fully expect the Celtics to win tonight....if they don't, Pistons in 7.
