Typically over-hyped dookie. He had some quickness, but his body control was always suspect. Too many wild shots and poor judgement with the ball.

I liked that Sixers team with Dawkins, Chuck, Mahorn, Hersey Hawkins I don't remember too much about Dawkins other that he was pretty decent but like Shepseskaf said he didn't have great body control, among other things

dawkins was a very good player

his best years were in san anton but the problem was he was stuck behind alvin robertson

i cant remember what his injury was that made him lose half a step...

His stats suggest he is a TJ Ford. Your defenition of him as a player suggest he is a TJ Ford.

I don't want to get into how he would be now or whatever, but he was very good. He saw the game well and knew how to pass. He tore his ACL (I'm pretty sure it was his ACL I was like 19 then) but he was really turning into a very good player. He never really recovered from it. The year he got hurt he was playing well and seemed like he was getting alot better.
