Default Chris Ford Mock Draft 3.0

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/draft2...ckDraft-080602

Interesting notes: DJ Augustin #6 to the knicks, Mario Chalmers #26 to Spurs

The 'Cats would be thrilled to get Lopez at #9.

Anyone have some Ford mock drafts from previous years? I tried looking on ESPN but could only find current stuff.

And I'm praying Westbrook is there at 11.

Clippers at 7 get Eric Gordon, that seems to be the norm. I can see Love at 5, but Augustin in NY.

thats 1 from a blog from last year. he got oden, durant, horford, conley, law right. the rest were a little messed up by the ray allen/jeff green trade. all were in the right range though

I just can't picture Augustin going to NY. I see why he is a lottery pick, but I can't see him going higher than 11.

Lopez seems to have slipped, but I still there is a real chance the Wolves, Grizzlies, and Bucks will give him a really long look. I just can't see three teams passing up that type of prospect.

I don't get Greene to Toronto either. They seem to like getting international players who won't mind playing in Canada. Greene seems to be somewhat selfish and to me seems like the type of guy that would have no interest going to Canada.

I also don't like Walker to Orlando. He has huge upside, but this team wants to win now. Chalmers, CDR, and even Lawson can help out more right now.

I love Batum to Houston. To me that would make up for the Gay trade.

I also don't understand why the Pistons would take Hardin over Jason Thompson. Thompson is just as big, and while he is nowhere near as strong and physical, he is much better on offense. With Rasheed and McDyess getting older, they need some post scoring. They already have two similar players to Hardin in Maxiell and Johnson. He also has a lot more upside to get better when they really will need this pick to produce after the current starting 5 starts to get broken apart.
