Probably similar stats to last season, maybe 27 ppg. He gets so close to 10 rpg every season it seems, so maybe he can get over the hump this time. He should be a strong MVP candidate again.
It all depends how the Mavericks are going to play, if they have another great season (which is likely to happen), Dirk is right there in the MVP race.
But I think it's all about team success, Dirk played his best ball last season (which wasn't near how the best players played, but he helped the team win). So I doubt, if the Mavericks played like .500 and Dirk had the same numbers, he would not be in the MVP race. I'm just saying that he is a really good player but not great.
Please explain with thoughtful, intelligent details.

Look at those stats for last year then explain to me how that wasn't near the best players played. And of course noone is going to be considered for MVP if their teams is at .500. Team record is always a big factor in the race. Your team will need to be in the range of 50 wins. So that goes for all players not just Dirk. You underrate Dirk as much as you overrate Kenyon Martin.
I think Dirk will have about the same stats as last year. Though I would like to see his assists go up. That's about the only realistic improvement he could make.
I just hope he remains consistent this year. People forget that while Dirk is an essential part of the team, he really doesn't carry it by himself. He's not a Kobe, Iverson, or Wade. We actually have a team. We have a deep team and if he's consistent and everone else is doing their part we will be the baddest in the league!
Iverson's team didn't make the playoffs in the East. Kobe's team came in 7th and didn't make it the year before. Wade actually had some help. Shaq, Haslem, Walker and Zo. Dirk may not carry it. But without him they are fighting for the last playoff spot. And that doesn't make him any less of an MVP candidate.

Well I wasn't debating whether or not he should be MVP, I was answering the original question.
I would love to see him get MVP but my first concern is the team winning the championship and Dirk's needs to improve on consistency.
