yao, tmac, and deke will never leave the rox cuz of the money they make them. deke wants to retire but they wont let him. tmac wants to play somewhere else but they dont care. yao is injury prone but they still think he can play a full season.

cuz of those 3 the rox will be the best team in the league 10 years from now cuz of the value they added to the team.

GO ROX! WHOOO!

bucks wont let yi go either. and zhi zhi is somewhere makin a dleague or minor league team rich

Entertainment is a multi billion dollar thing. And with it players get a slice of the pie, some larger than others. I wonder what it feels like to watch $525,000 go into your account AFTER taxes.

One thing tho? The more you make the more you spend. So I'm sure his expenses are eating up some of that money. I really like to see how much he saves off that $525,000 after bills, expenses and what not. He probably has numerous homes, shops, kids, gives money back home. Maybe takes care of some family members expenses. You really dont know how he spends it.

Its not like the $525,000 per week goes in bank and takes a nap. Still a lot of money. Its justified because sports entertains human beings. Always has, always will.

Is that why the owners make so much more than the players?

So much more? Can you show what owners are getting. Or are you assuming since they are owners they gotta be getting paid more than the players?

If it makes you feel any better, 500K / week is chump change compared to what CEO's sometimes get. Bob Nardelli, who was CEO of Home Depot, got paid $210 milllion dollars just to get FIRED:

Seeing Red Over a Golden Parachute

On the other hand, I make about 8 times as much as what somebody in China or India does, who does the exact same job as me.

Team owners are business owners. Like all businesses, they can make money or lose money.

It's called capitalism. You only have yourself to blame for helping to fuel the money they generate in the first place.

i say get all they can, if somebody is willing to pay that kind of money they must have it to spend. sports is a escape to most fans, we love to be entertained and we are willing to pay big money for it.
