I think people should stop hating on Kobe. Ofcourse, the guy is not on MJ's level, hell who is? He had a bad game, that's it. Does that mean he's not a MVP caliber player? No. It just mean the guy is human and will make mistakes and will miss/force shots. Like Kobe said, he is where he is because of his teammates. I think people get all hyped up over one player just because they are winning. Look at all the Lebron James fans after Clevend made to the finals. People were saying Lebron is the best player etc, comparing him to Jordan, and now look. People are comparing Kobe to Jordan. It's all hype to get people interested and hyped for the game.

Kobe is a great player, but no Jordan. Not yet anyways.

KG dominated both ends of the floor. KoME went 9 for 26, and played 0 defense (as usual). Even more proof that KoME did not really win an MVP* this season, rather the LAA (Lifetime Achievement Award).

of course not!

mark jackson, jeff van gundy, that no name tool who announces with them...these guys are complete idiots who are trying to bring some excitement back to the NBA. it just hasn't been the same since the God retired. And it won't ever be the same.

I have to be honest, I didn't watch Game 1 of the NBA Finals. I was too busy watching the White Sox sweep the Royals with ease. And I'm not going to watch any of it because I already know the Boston Celtics will win it all. It is blatantly obvious.

I've been MIA 99% of the time since the start of last year's playoffs. I'm tempted to bring it back for next season.

the same JVG who think that the league should institute crazy new rule after crazy new rule like if someone makes a shot from halfcourt the game is automatically tied? At first JVG was fun and a novelty. But now that has worn out. His voice is extremely annoying. And the only reason one would consider JVG one of the "best" announcers is because the NBA is devoid of any quality announcers to begin with.
