Default Houston - Toronto trade?

Houston trade B-Jax and Luther Head
for
T.J. Ford and Baston and the exception

i tried it on the new espn trade machine
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/trades/trademachine
and the raptors increase their winning percentage by 28%
the rockets increase their winning % by 8.54%

could this trade be done?
maybe add some picks here and there?

So why the **** do the Raptors do this trade? It doesn't add anything to their team.

It gives them an over the hill Bobby Jackson and a player that is going to ride the pine in Luther Head.

Horrible trade idea.

ford is injury prone
and maybe houston can add their picks this year and/or the next year
or their unsigned picks

the raptors can make calderon their floor general
imho calderon has better upside than ford (who has a huge contract) and longer than bjax

Toronto can get more than Bobby Jackson and Luther Head for Ford. Jackson and Head arent going to help the team in any bit. Toronto needs someone who can rebound and hit 10 -15 foot shots, like Rasho but younger. I remember there was once talks of Okafor for Parker + Bragnani. Maybe if they add Ford into that deal and Bobcats add a 2nd rounder it would be better.

Toronto would never do this trade.

Ford, only 25, as inconsistent as he might be, still shot 47% fg, averaged 12 pt 6 ast playing only 23 min per game.

Too bad, Toronto and Alston doesn't cope well, or else, the Rockets should trade Alston + Bobby + some picks for Ford + whatever to make up the cap differece.

We have enough injury prone players on this team I would not trade that much for TJ Ford.

I believe Jackson and Head would expiring contracts. So if the Raptors would to do this trade, that would be the reason. After Kwame for Pau, anything can happen when you have expiring contracts.

more injury prone players! Yay!

I agree with moving BJ for a third scorer but as if you would want TJ when you have Yao and Tmac who are going to miss games

B-Jax would be nothing more than an expirer, which is perfect if they want to lock up Calderon.

Bobcats already have J-Rich who is much better than Parker and Okafor is everything a team would want from their center while Bargnani leaves much to be desired. Even if we gave them Ford who is an upgrade over Raymond it would still be crippling their team by giving away one of their top two players, and knowing Jordan, probably the best pick they'll ever get for the rest of their franchise's existence.
