Kid's going to be a star. Or maybe I'm holding onto the nostalgia of remembering Kemp playing.

There's going to be quite a few rebirths of Shawn Kemp to come. From all over. Quite a few(if you catch my drift)...

If they all end up playing like Kemp, then it's all good. He'd have a the magic seed too...but that's a different conversation.

Does Alton Lister have a son? He can come to the NBA and get posterized by Kemp's son.

Kid's 17. Can't really talk about what he can't get in the NBA when he hasn't even finished high school. Have that conversation later. Right now he looks like a stud 17 year old. You expect too much if you're comparing a 17 year old to an NBA player.

he had some nice dunks in that video, the one handed oop was pretty sick. doesn't appear to be as explosive as his dad, but like you said he's only 17 so you can't expect him to compare to one of the NBA's greatest dunkers of all time.

Looks like he's got pretty similar bone structure to his dad (gee, ya think?) - in fact, very similar. He runs like his dad too. That's good for him because I'd wager with some intensive training he could become much more explosive.

Also gotta consider that he's probably dunking like 15 times a game against those midgets, I doubt he'll waste energy jumping 100% every time.

Exactly,he's playing against smaller guys against C's who are like 6'3.

I don't think it's right to assume a guy isn't any good because he's dunking on guys who are smaller. Can you blame him for that? Should he just lay it up then? He's the #25 player for a reason. Scouts must see something in him that you can't see in highlights.

I seen Shawn Kemp, the real Shawn Kemp, at a Best Buy in Houston. He looked in better shape than he was when he played for the Magic.
