If the Kings want to clear out cap space, they could do this deal:

Kings get

No. 1 pick (lottery protected)
Calvin Booth

Sixers get

Brad Miller

This is if the Elton Brand scenario falls through.

The Sixers get a big with a two year deal to bolster the front court.

The Kings clear out a huge contract and get a no. 1 pick.

i most likely wouldn't take this just because brad miller is now 32 and that #1 pick will probably be more valuable. but i would love to get rid of calvin booth

Bibby's contract was going to give him over 15 mil next season. He's been injured the past two seasons, and during the time he was out this season, Beno showed he was a solid PG who was playing better than Mike and has a far lower price. Martin's 50 mil extension is kicking in next season, sending the team over the luxury tax level too. Sac isn't a huge market, and they can't afford to pay the tax for a mediocre squad. This is a business first, and a sport second. It wasn't a bad trade at all, and those that think so are idiots who need to stop posting.

Back to the topic:

Brad is a bit overpaid, but he's shown this season that he's one of the best centers when 100%. He is still the league's best passing center, and one of the best shooting centers in the game. He runs the floor, sets hard picks, great passer, great IQ, and his post defense and rebounding actually improved this season. He had a nagging foot injury last year that limited his conditioning and ability to jump, but this year he got healthy and in shape, and actually had a great year. He had a couple 20/20 games, and got player of the week. I don't think he has a lot of value unless the potential team wants that type of center. Not all teams like that high post, passing/shooting center.
