Default Vinny Del Negro?

WTF

I dont get this move at all

They pass up on Avery Johnson and Doug Collins to get a coach with no experience

This is just brilliant

they went outside the box to get a coach who worked under d'antoni, so imo he does have some experience, he learned from one of the best

yeah i dont say its the best move ever either, but we should support it and give him a chance who knows it make work out great

I'm new to the board

I have lived in Chicago all of my life and I am a life long Bulls fan. I even worked for the Bulls from 93 to 96

I have met most of the players from that time including John Paxson. I have even spoken with him in passing.

Having said that, I like Pax but I think this move is bone-headed.

Mike D'antoni wasn't the answer and neither is Vinny Del Negro. The Bulls are a defensive team. They needed a defensive minded coach, one with finals experience as a coach who can tell what it takes to get there, one who has been there and won as a player also.

One person comes to mind.

Avery Johnson.

This was such an obvious move I don't know how he could've not made it.

Doug Collins would've been Scott Skiles lite. Not the answer. He couldn't win with Jordan twice, how would you expect him to win with players that are not of that caliber.

I love the players on the team (except Larry Hughes, how long until we trade him?)

Avery should've at least gotten a call.
