Wink Chris Webber to the Knicks!!!!!!!!

Do you think it will happen soon?

rock I excpect more from you man.Webber would not be good for you guys he would need ball 70% of time to be truly effective. If he cant play with iverson then there is no way he can play with the ''best pg in nba''.You guys have to many scoring pg's that need ball just as much to be truly effective.Just dont think it could work well enough to be worth it.Now maybe if it was webber from like 5 years ago.

I doubt that Weber can run up and down the court in a Phoenix / Team USA type offense with his bad knees.

It would be a bad trade, unless they would accept a few of the "boo birds" from this forum for CWeb. LOL

Isiah!! Please don't do it.. The Knicks already have some bad contracts that are gonna expire next summer. Frye is the PF of the clubs future. They could build a team around him. He has that kind of potential. No C-Webb please. I love his game, but the Knicks are in a hole, and they don't need any bad contracts & knees. But if he does become a Knick, he'd be a point-forward. That would allow the ball-hog guards to chuck up shots. *l*

Default Nope, not even

The only way they should go after CWeb is if Philly would take Jerome James, Mo Taylor, Jamal Craford or Eddy Curry. Even so, the Knicks would be dumb to invest in high paids player whose game is on the decline like Rose, Francis..

Why give up a young player like Crawford who game matured under Larry Brown for an aging player with bad Knees? Crawford became a complete player, with better shot selection, ball handling skills, ability to play both guard positions well and one of the best crossover dribbles. He was the Knicks go-to player at crunch time who won games by beating the other team down the stretch.

I would not trade Curry for CWeb either. Curry still has the possibility of becoming a great player. Even if he stays about the same, he is a YOUNG, big, athletic center that can get double figures in points and rebounds on a consistent basis. Although he has been in the league 6 years, he is only 25 years old and often centers take time to mature and reach their full potential. Isiah needs a year to see what he can do with Curry.

But, a young, healthy Curry is worth more than an aging player with bad knees -- in any case.

Forget about trading Frye. Unless you pick up a Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade or LeBron James. But who in their right mind would trade any of those players for Frye at this point?

The only way I would take CWeb is if they would take Quention Richardson, with his bad back and bad contract or Jerome James, and/or some of the Knick veteran bench warmers.
