I didn't know where to post this, I pretty much lost all credibility in the Off The Court Lounge so I thought this would be the best place to post.
I decided that I wanted my own lap top and I have been saving money for one for a while. I checked online on eBay, and some eBay stores offer seemingly good lap tops from 200-500 dollars, new.
Is this worth it? Any reason I shouldn't do this? Computer stats looks great, price is cheap, and I just want something to play music, surf the web etc.

As long as they have good feedback you'll be fine.....

A simple look at system settings would show that the hd/ram is missing, and therefore you'd get a complete refund. It's really not as risky as people make it out to be. Just buy from someone with semi-high feedback (50+) with at leas 95% positive reviews.
