The problem with DeRozan is that he's not consistent enough to carry a team each game,VC could do that but DeRozan hasn't shown the ability to.
DeRozan disappears in big games also,it's been well reported even before the McDonalds All American Game in which he completely disappeared.
His jumper doesn't have consistency to it,and his 3 point shot is average while shooting over 6'1 kids trying to guard him,how much will that change once he gets in the pros and is being guarded by 6'7 guards with their hand in his face or yanking on his jersey.
Like I said before,he has the talent to put up Corey Maggette type numbers but he's got great hangtime,don't think its on VC level more of a JR Smith.
The highlights look good. But of course highlights will. Hope he stays at USC more than a year he still got some parts of his game that need to be polished. He can certainly dunk with the best of em already though. But for now all that makes him is a Gerald Green.
