Where are you getting this from? Have you watched him in more than highlights or a few all star games? What else do we have to judge him by except rivals.com and some highlight tapes?

From the highlights you have provided and some previous viewing. He is not going to be the allstar most of you expect if he doesn't obtain and work on some of those fundamental skills.

Keep in mind that he is just a teen carter entered the league when he is already 20. So dont expect this kid to be like carter when he enters after his freshman season . I do think he can be a very good prospect am not saying he will be better than carter but he has the hops to begin with.

And with the 3rd overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft the New Jersey Nets selects Demar Derozan from USC.

If being a good dunker would make you a good basketball player, Gerald Green would be an all star.

Lots of guys in high school put up those kind of stats. And I don't believe the fg numbers one bit.

I've said it several times here, the class of 08 is one of the weakest classes in years. Don't expect any of them to set the world on fire like many of the freshmen this year did.

Demar Derozan is a more talented player than Gerald Green, and I think he is going to be a top 5 pick in the 2009 NBA Draft.

The Nets have one of the best GM in the NBA, and they aren't going to draft a player just because he is an explosive dunker.

I'm rarely impressed by highlight reels of guys dunking against other high school players. If you made it to NBA on hype you'd have guys like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n9drNlclSzE getting drafted everyday. Show me some game footage where he isn't on a breakaway against some boys, then I'll be impressed.

Actually he's not a more talented player than Green it just so happens that Green entered the NBA Draft out of HS,had poor workouts and fell to #18.

Had Gerald Green went to Oklahoma State for a year,he would've been a Top 5 Pick.

Highlight with no dunking... http://youtube.com/watch?v=y1nxZ0wBaEU

What do people want? A video of the kid dunking on an NBA player? He's 18. Name a high school player anywhere, ever, where you have footage of him dominating NBA players. Not rumors or hearsay, footage.

Well Youtube has only been around for about 4 years maybe.

I think Michael Finley destroyed Jordan in a HS game back in the early 1990's.

You mean when Finley was in HS? There's rumors everywhere. Bryant schooling Jerry Stackhouse is another when Stackhouse was playing for Philly. But was there anything about Rose, Beasley, etc. schooling NBA players out of high school?

Im sure there is some video of Lance Stephenson schooling someone because he plays against a lot of NBA players during tournaments over at Rucker.

It might be it might not be but you're right.
