sheed is capable of defending the C spot, its the post scoring on the other end we need. which makes diop a bad fit as anything but a backup.

What happened to Patrick27? He was a great poster and we've had some good discussions in the forum lately and there's been no posts from him. Patrick27 come back to ISH.

Indeed.
He was a very insightful poster and had good knowledge of our team…
He brought good input and additional perspective…

I'm going to add more fuel to the fire. Today we see that Houston is about to trade to get Artest. Battier is capable of playing SG as he is a great 3 point shooter. Do you think that trade makes McGrady become more tradeable? It would now have to be Chauncey & Rip for T-Mac. Then Battier could back up Artest & Rip. I know there are quite a few that are against bringing him in but it has to make us wonder.

I would think he would want to stay too, but it's more what management wants to do.

I don't really know if we should send off both of our backcourt players…

How does McGrady stack up on the defensive end? What are his capabilities? I'm kind of curious… gonna have to look at those numbers…

You're absolutley correct. I don't think he can defend like Rip, but he can score better. Coming to Detroit though, it toughens people up. I'm not sure why, maybe it's the atmosphere. Maybe it's because we don't go to bars on the weekend and not see a fight and those others have never seen that before. T-Mac has more size, and Stuckey has more size. Our main questions are can T-Mac stay healthy and do we have backups for him and Stuckey???

Without Rip and Chauncey, our back up guards at the mo are Afflalo, and Bynum… Not really sure on the status of Lindsey, if he is hanging it up or going to suit up for a final go… Juan Dixon is still available right now, but I have not heard of anyone having interest in him…

I haven't heard of much interest in Dixon either. I would have figured he would have landed with a different team by now. Hypothetically, if they made a trade like that they would probably get back another player from Houston too and it would likely be a gaurd since they have a ton of them.
