Jaguars, leopards, cougars and panthers are just minor variations of each other. The different names are popular in different regions. A black panther is just a black leopard basically and there are also black jaguars, cougars, etc.
Such animals are bred in the intent of making a super-dog, one that possesses the best characteristics from both dogs and wolves. Unfortunately, this is not the case – hybrids are extremely unpredictable and dangerous to humans. The reason for this is that the hybrid loses the wolf’s natural shyness of humans by being bred with a domestic animal, but still holds the wolf’s predatory instincts and exceptional strength. To them, small children, cats and dogs are all prey
arent most of these hybrids born sterile, such as mules? (donkey/horse)
yea, most of them are sterile, it's nature's way of preventing it further

how much animal planet do you actually watch??
Male lions are freakishly powerful. The reason they don't hunt is because their long manes give them away and it's too hard for them to sneak up on anything. Lions mostly rely on ambush to hunt, and having a monstrous mane doesn't help.
Lions are the kings, just because they don't use their strength for hunting doesn't mean they can't. I saw a lion take down a cape buffalo one-on-one. That was pretty beasty.
