Default Who are the best foreign-born players all time?

IMO its:

Hakeem
Duncan
Ewing
Dirk
Nash
Yao
Petrovich
Sabonis (Don't lose your minds, I only saw him in the NBA so that's all I've got to go on, feel free to rank him first if you want).
Detlef
Manu
Divac
Parker
Kukoc
Nocioni
Smits
Nene
Jasekevecis (Sp?)
Siekley
Najera

and i'm sure i'm forgetting a ton of guys!

Just some names off the top of my head that you missed:

Dominique Wilkins, Sergei Belov, Dikembe Mutombo, Andrei Kirilenko, Mehmet Okur, Luol Deng, Hido Turkgolu, Boris Diaw, Peja Stojakovic, Leandro Barbosa, Pau Gasol

Don't know if some of these names should be listed as the greatest foreign players ever, but all of them belong on the list before guys like Seikly, Nocioni, Najera, and Jasikevicious.

Sabonis
Olajuwon
Duncan
Ewing
Nowitzki

How's that for a top five (not necessarily ordered 1-5, but just the five best)?

Not sure I'd take Sabonis over 'Nique.

Detlef Schrempf was awesome. Gotta love the no-jump threes.

I put Detlef over Nash because for a 6th man role I think he'd be better. Nash is a better starter, he runs the show, therefore he commands the ball, which isn't the greatest attribute for a 6th man to have on a loaded team

and yeah Detlef was the man back in the day, he was like my Pau of a decade ago

Well, if you look at it as an actual team, you'd have to start Nash because I didn't list any guards.

are you implying that Sabonis' passing isn't good enough to make him a PG?! The man had amazing court vision, he'd murder a PG like Nash
